Andrew Manton – Director

Andrew is an established health economist and market access professional, with almost 20 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare consulting industries. During this time, he has held senior positions as Director of Market Access and Manager of Health Outcomes with high-profile industry-leading employers.

Andrew has a unique blend of technical, strategic and practical skills, combining tertiary qualifications in economics, pharmacoeconomics, epidemiology and biostatistics, with a previous professional background in government affairs, policy, public relations and communications. His particular interests lie in market access strategy, decision analytic modelling, quality of life measurement and comparative health systems analysis.

He written around 100 major submissions for key reimbursement authorities including the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and New Zealand Pharmaceutical Management Agency (PHARMAC) and has worked across most therapeutic areas, developing specific expertise and insights into vaccines, oncology, diabetes and rare diseases.

Sue Phillips – Director

Sue is an experienced market access professional with 20 years of experience in the Australian pharmaceutical and health technology industry. She has held various senior roles in pricing and reimbursement, market access and new product planning with responsibility for Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region for industry-leading organisations.

Most recently Sue was Director of Market Access and member of the company’s senior management team. She has been a member of the Health Economics Working Group of Medicines Australia and participated in various Access to Medicines round tables.

Increasingly, Sue’s experience specialises in rarer conditions and blood disorders, oncology, haematology, and immunology.  Her breadth of exposure and industry experience across reimbursement projects and programs has enabled her to find finding strategic solutions to critical market access and pricing challenges and she has made significant contributions to more than 45 major submissions over her career.

Sue has a particular interest in population health and healthy ageing and holds board positions with two registered charities. Sue completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne in 2008, specialising in health economics and economic evaluation, combined with biostatistics and epidemiology. She is part way through a PhD that examines health services utilisation associated with cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disorders and has co-authored a number of publications on this topic.

Sinead Garrett – Director

Sinead is an experienced health outcomes specialist, with post-graduate qualifications in epidemiology, public health and pharmacoeconomics.  In more than 15 years as a Market Access Consultant, Sinead has provided expert support and advice to clients undertaking reimbursement activities across in Australia and New Zealand, making significant contribution to more than 50 major submissions to the PBAC.

With a broad knowledge base gained from more than 25 years working across industry, academia, contract research and consulting, Sinead has first-hand insight into the full spectrum of drug development and access to market and particular skills in maximising the use of clinical data to align product claims and pricing and reimbursement ambitions.

She has tutored at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Monash University, is an author on 13 peer-reviewed publications and has a high level of expertise in economic modelling.
